If Tixel is used at low to medium settings, you can receive the procedure without numbing. At high setting, a topical numbing cream will be administered to the skin where discomfort will be minimal.

Your skin specialist will consult with you on your skin needs and concerns; from there, a treatment plan is designed to best address your goals.
Tixel uses heat at 400 degrees to cause fractional coagulation zones in the dermis. Your doctor will use this technology on your skin for 15 minutes.

Your skin may appear hot for one hour after the procedure. Redness can persist for a couple of days. Flaking of the skin can occur after four days. Tixel results will fully emerge four to six weeks after your treatment. You will notice smooth, firm, tight skin that appears more youthful. Maintenance treatments are recommended as needed.
